Answer and transfer phone calls and greet clients in person, directing them to appropriate staff members, room, or campus resource.2. Provide basic information about counseling & wellness services to students seeking information.3. Maintain cleanliness and order in the waiting room, training room, group room, and relaxation room.4. Create a friendly and welcoming environment5. Handle and protect confidential and sensitive data with integrity6. Assist with outreach initiatives to promote awareness of mental health services on campus.7. Attend Team meeting as needed8. Assist with marketing initiatives / social media (Instagram & TikTok).9. Assist with data collection and data entry10. Provide support to Director on mental health and wellness student / campus needs11. Perform related other duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS1. GPA of 2.0 or above.2. Must be enrolled at JJC in at least 6 credit hours.3. High School diploma or equivalent.4. Excellent Customer Service skills.5. Demonstrated multicultural competence.6. Strong verbal and written communication skills.7. Attentiveness to detail, excellent organizational skills, initiative, and multitasking.8. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with other members of the college and community, displaying cultural competence as well as emotional intelligence.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS1. Willingness to work a flexible schedule.2. English and Spanish verbal and written communication proficiency.PHYSICAL DEMANDS1. Ability to kneel, bend, or lift to assist with maintaining shared spaces.2. Capacity to lift and move light equipment as needed.3. Walk to different areas around Main campusWORKING CONDITIONS1. Office settings2. Some events are outdoorsScheduled Weekly Hours : This is a student employee position that works around your class schedule. May work up to 20 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters.
