Job Description Position Summary: Trauma Licensed Therapist
Department: General Town
Reports: Township Supervisor
Position Summary
The licensed clinical therapist will perform trauma focused clinical therapy, case management, and establish holistic needs referrals for individual participants and/or group settings under the guidance of the Township Supervisor. The trauma focused clinical team will help establish partnerships within the local community in collaboration with all Joliet Township programming and services. Services will be offered via accessory sites, telehealth where applicable, and within the public infrastructure of partner agencies and organizations.

Responsibilities/Performance Requirements:
· Provide trauma focused clinical assessment, therapy, and psychological aid to clients
· Track and maintain HIPM compliant records related to services provided, patient outcomes, patient performance, patient satisfaction, and referrals
· Ensure all clinical notes are completed promptly for performance benchmarking
· Provide monthly performance and budget reports as required by the Illinois Department of Human Services
· Complete training necessary as requested by Township Supervisor and per IDHS Training Program
· Attend staff meetings, and outreach events as required
· Facilitate collaborative care with other providers when necessary
Communicating with Township staff, leaders, and stakeholders
· Assist the Director in developing collaborative partnerships with stakeholders
· Demonstrate integrity, follow established disciplinary code of ethics, and uphold a positive image of Joliet Township
· Perform other related tasks as required or assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent expressive and receptive communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and competently and adeptness with multitasking
- Strong sense of responsibility and orientation to detail necessary
- Is open and respectful of the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of clients and is willing and competent to work with a diverse client population
Required Qualifications
- An accredited graduate degree in social work and/or psychology
- Valid Illinois License to perform clinical therapy and psychological aid LCSW or LCPC
- Valid Driver's License in Illinois
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proven ability to manage confidential information and sensitive situations with emotional maturity, professionalism, and integrity
- Mandated Reporter and Abuse and Neglect Training
- EMDR preferred
- Complete and maintain necessary licensing and certifications
WORK CONDITIONS: This position will require work flexibility in the evenings and at weekends.
SALARY: Commensurate with education and experience between $55,000 - $65,000 annually.
