As a Roofer/Laborer at Jolly Roofing & Contracting, you will assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial roofing systems, with a focus on single-ply systems. You’ll work with metal installations, including coping, gutters, and edge metal. Heavy equipment operation will be required, and safety will always be a priority on the job site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in installing and repairing commercial roofing systems, with an emphasis on single-ply systems (experience with other roofing systems is a plus).
- Perform metal installations, including coping, gutters, and edge metal.
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, man lifts, and other roofing machinery safely and effectively.
- Ensure proper job site preparation and clean-up.
- Follow all safety regulations, including proper use of fall protection and other safety measures.
- Work collaboratively with roofing technicians and other team members to complete tasks efficiently.
- Handle materials and tools necessary for roofing projects.
- Ensure high-quality standards and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Knowledge and experience with single-ply roofing systems (other roofing systems are a plus).
- Strong understanding of metal installations, including coping, gutters, and edge metal.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment (man lifts, forklifts, etc.).
- Must pass a drug test.
- Valid state ID or driver’s license.
- Ability to perform physical labor and work at heights.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
