About the Role
We are seeking an Organic Social Media Manager (Entry-Level) with a passion for film and a
deep understanding of social media platforms to help drive the organic social presence for each
film, and for Jolt. In this role, you will be hands-on in creating, scheduling, and optimizing content
across multiple social channels, building each film’s unique presence. You’ll collaborate with
cross-functional teams to elevate our film campaigns, engage new audiences, and position Jolt
as a leader in digital marketing for filmmakers.

Key Responsibilities
● Platform Social
Create, schedule, and publish high-quality, engaging organic social media content (text,
images, short-form video, etc.) that aligns with campaign goals and Jolt’s brand voice.
● Community Engagement
Work closely with our community manager and director of social media to actively monitor
comments, messages, and overall brand sentiment across social platforms. Cultivate
positive relationships with followers, fans, and influencers to foster an engaged online
community.
● Collaborate with Marketing & Creative Teams
Work closely with the film team and design leads to ensure alignment of social content
with overarching marketing strategies for each film campaign.
● Stay Current with Trends
Keep up with the latest social media platforms, features, algorithm changes, platform
updates, and cultural trends.
● Support Paid Initiatives
While the focus is on organic, partner with the paid social team when needed to ensure
brand messaging and creative elements are cohesive across all channels.
● Maintain Brand Identity
Ensure that all posts and visuals reflect Jolt’s brand and fit with the templates and tone for
- that film.
Qualifications& Requirements
●Portfolio & Proven Results
Must be able to provide a portfolio or examples of social media campaigns/posts they
have managed or created. Evidence of significant engagement or follower growth
required.
● Platform Expertise
Demonstrated knowledge of at least three major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok,
Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) and familiarity with emerging platforms or tools.
● Familiarity with Creative Tools
Experience with basic graphic design, video editing, AI-powered editing tools, and
platforms like Canva, CapCut, or similar software is strongly preferred.
● Creative & Storytelling Skills
Ability to craft compelling copy and visuals that capture attention and drive engagement.
● Collaboration & Communication
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Enjoys working with cross-functional
teams and can incorporate feedback effectively.
● Adaptability & Curiosity
Eagerness to learn, experiment, and pivot strategies in response to data or shifting market conditions.
