Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including home community care, long-term care facilities, and memory care units. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and patient assessment skills, along with the ability to manage diverse patient needs effectively.
Duties
- Deliver nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians.
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including botulinum toxin treatment when applicable.
- Assist in airway management and provide emergency care in ER settings as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and wellness strategies.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Experience
- Previous experience in home community care, pediatrics, long-term care, or memory care is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and patient assessment techniques is essential.
- Experience in airway management or emergency response is a plus.
- Knowledge of botulinum toxin treatment protocols is beneficial but not required.

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
