Job Description:
As a high-level Executive Protection Agent at JomsVikings, you will be responsible for safeguarding the well-being of our clients, including corporate executives, dignitaries, and other VIPs. You will work closely with our team to develop comprehensive security strategies tailored to each client's unique needs and preferences. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional situational awareness, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
IMPORTANT: This position is a contract position meant for high level pop up contracts to be filled on an as needed basis.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and security audits to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and implement customized security plans to mitigate risks and protect clients in various environments, including travel, public appearances, and private residences.
- Coordinate closely with client representatives, local law enforcement, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of security protocols.
- Provide close protection and escort services to clients, maintaining a vigilant presence and responding swiftly to any security incidents or emergencies.
- Conduct advance work, including route planning, venue inspections, and logistical arrangements, to anticipate and address potential security challenges.
- Stay current on emerging security threats, industry best practices, and relevant legal regulations to continuously enhance our protective measures.
Qualifications:
- REQUIRED: Minnesota Permit To Carry
- Prior experience in executive protection, law enforcement, military special operations, or a related field.
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures
- Demonstrated proficiency in defensive driving, unarmed combat, and firearms handling.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively handle stressful situations.
- Excellent physical fitness and the ability to maintain peak performance during long hours and high-stress situations.
- Strong conflict management skills to deescalate potential conflicts or confrontations.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients, team members, and external partners.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally on short notice, sometimes for extended periods.
- Discretion, professionalism, and impeccable integrity are non-negotiable.
