Are you an experienced equipment operator with a passion for precision and safety? Jon M. Hall Company is looking for a skilled Loader Operator to join our field team. If you take pride in operating heavy machinery and contributing to high-quality sitework and infrastructure projects, this is your opportunity to join a team that values your skills and hard work.
What You’ll Do:
- As a Loader Operator, you’ll operate a crawler or rubber-tired machine mounted with a loader bucket to load structures, dirt, pipe, and precast concrete into trucks and other locations on-site. You will be an essential part of our construction crew, helping ensure job sites run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-operation checks on oil, water, fuel, tires, hydraulic systems, and more.
- Operate a variety of gasoline and diesel-powered construction equipment including dozers, motor graders, backhoes, rubber-tire and truck loaders, and front-end loaders.
- Perform safety and maintenance inspections on assigned equipment.
- Operate controls including throttles, levers, and pedals to move equipment and materials safely and efficiently.
- Signal drivers for proper truck positioning during loading operations.
- Avoid site hazards and obstructions such as utility lines, equipment, and falling materials. Perform routine equipment maintenance, including oiling, greasing, and minor adjustments.

Qualifications:
- Experience : At least 2 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment, or a combination of education and hands-on training.
- Attention to Detail : A focus on precision and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Teamwork : Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with team members.
Physical Requirements:
- Physical Stamina : Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and work extended hours in a physically demanding environment.
