What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse / Parts Counter Personnel position at Jon Wayne Service Company?
Warehouse / Parts Counter Professional for a full time position.
Jon Wayne Service Company is currently accepting applications for personnel to work in our warehouse / parts counter who will also have duties in procurement of parts and supplies.
Candidates should be detailed and organized. We are looking for team players who have a strong customer service attitude and a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done.
Requirements include:
- Must be able to operate computer and learn multiple systems.
- Be able to follow specific instructions and detailed procedures.
- Experience in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing trades and materials / parts used is a plus.
Duties will include but not limited to:
1. Operating PO Management system and ensuring information and part request are completed in a timely fashion.
2. Operating Inventory Management system completing Purchase Orders and receiving inventory.
3. Communicate with Vendors in ordering parts or gathering information via web base systems, email, and phone.
4. Process warranty parts.
5. Operate Logistics system in delivering materials and parts in a timely and cost effective method.
6. Assist with processing paperwork.
7. Assist in moving or staging material/parts which can require some heavy lifting.
8. May require some delivery with company vehicles.
Fulltime position with average 40-50 hrs per week. Possible some weekend schedules will be required in a rotation basis.

- Ability to work outside in all types of weather conditions
- Ability to work safely with hand tools
- Great attitude - easy to work with
- Strong work ethic
- Reliability
- Forklift experience would be helpful
- Clean Driving Record with ability to drive company vehicles when necessary
- Ability to pass background and drug screens
