What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Representative position at Jonaco Machine?
Jonaco Machine is a full-service precision machining supplier with over 50 years of industry experience producing a portfolio of complex, close tolerance parts for customers in the aerospace/defense, medical and high technology industries.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Primary liaison between the customer, the DOS, and Operations/Production staff regarding contract administration and other non-technical matters affecting current orders.
2. Maintains strong overall customers relationships with buyers of assigned accounts, providing best-in-class customer service.
3. Understands importance of timely and accurate execution of all tasks, activities and impact to the organization in meeting quality, delivery and cost metrics.
4. Reports out on performance as measured by the customer, escalating performance issues to management.
5. Oversees and enters discrete and blanket purchase orders into company's ERP system, based on price and lead-time quotes. Works with customers regarding problems such as insufficient lead-time or expedite requests, missing releases, pricing discrepancies, change orders and rescheduling and ensures orders meet customer's requirements/specifications.
6. Tracks customer and order communication via a CRM system, managing
situations and discrepancies through resolution.
7. Analyzes customer and internal data within ERP System to make sure orders are balanced.
8. Provides the internal company leadership for portal activity for assigned active customer accounts and is accountable for daily participation in portal activity.
9. Processes customer quotes by utilizing company Estimating system, entering estimates and necessary information for your Estimating Team's use. Submits finalized pricing to customers in a timely manner and ensuring we are meeting customer deadlines.
10. Processes customer print changes and corrections via the company's Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process.
11. Prospects for new or additional business with active accounts by email/phone contact or in person visits at the direction of the DOS, or through contacts with previous buyers.
12. Assists DOS with management of projects within active customer relationships, assuming the lead position when directed by DOS.
13. Contacts customer's engineers regarding details of jobs.
14. Contacts customer's for miscellaneous information relating to jobs and orders, as needed.
Qualifications:
1. High School Education or GED required. A Bachelors' Degree preferred.
2. Relevant work experience preferred.
3. Microsoft Office Suite software and Manufacturing/ERP software experience preferred.
4. Outstanding organizational and multitasking skills.
5. Ability to prioritize work and succeed under deadlines.
6. Excellent communications and customer service skills.
7. Collaborative skills needed to work with the Account Team and Operations regarding any aspect, impact or improvement opportunity to process.
