We are growing and looking to hire someone to join our Sales team. This will be a go-to person who will help our sales organization grow. This person will be based from our office and make outgoing sales calls to potential customers, support our outside sales force, and build relationships with our customers. This person will also familiarize themselves with our product line in order to assist customers with questions when necessary.
The ideal candidate will be technical by nature, comfortable selling, have the ability to easily understand and learn about products, as well as the ability to pass this knowledge onto others. This person will be exceptionally organized with a keen ability to follow up on customer inquiries and leads.
Responsibilities
- Generates revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders, understanding and interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information, and developing accounts.
- Expands current accounts by checking customer’s buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features.
- Outgoing sales calls & lead follow-up from customer database, tradeshows, and incoming inquiries. Conduct high-volume inbound and outbound calls & emails to connect with potential customers.
- Liaison with marketing team to prepare necessary data sheets, sell sheets and other pertinent sales materials. Actively follow up on leads generated by marketing campaigns, referrals, and other sources to drive conversions.
- Prepare customer quotes and proposals
- Assesses competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends and identifying sales opportunities.
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences by responding promptly to inquiries and building rapport with every interaction.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to closing, while maintaining a high close rate through diligent follow-ups and effective communication.
- Must be comfortable using digital tools such as CRMs, sales automation software, and email marketing platforms.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple tasks and priorities to manage. Need to be able to prioritize work, manage time effectively, and stay organized.
- Be customer-focused and able to build strong relationships with prospects and customers. Be responsive, helpful, and able to resolve customer issues.
- Travel to tradeshows in North America to meet with potential customers.
Qualifications
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, especially in MS Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a high aptitude for providing excellent customer service
- Strong organizational skills. Must demonstrate the capacity to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and in a timely manner.
- Must possess take charge attitude, be a self-starter, and ensure projects are completed in full and on time
