TITLE : FACILITIES, HVAC & IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS COORDINATOR
SUGGESTED QUALIFICATIONS :
- Experience managing and / or overseeing facilities, HVAC systems, water systems, and specialized maintenance operations
- Expertise in leading public bidding policies and procedures, as well as negotiating complex construction and contractor contracts / agreements.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant maintenance, HVAC, and water systems experience, all training, certifications and licensures will be considered.
- Displays strong leadership skills in planning, coordinating, and managing projects related to facilities improvement.
- Embodies high ethical standards and integrity. Accepts personal responsibility for decisions and conduct.
- Exhibits effective time management and problem-solving skills.
- Maintains a record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.
- Proficient in using technology equipment and systems appropriate for facilities management.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT :
Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. Part Time position, up to 180 days, with on-call availability 365 days.
EVALUATION : Performance of this position will be evaluated annually by the Superintendent and / or their designee.
PERFORMANCE CRITERIA :
1.01 Oversees the district's facilities, HVAC systems, water systems, and maintenance programs.
1.02 Regularly inspects district facilities, HVAC, and water system infrastructure to ensure proper functionality and safety.
1.03 Recommends and coordinates repair, maintenance, or replacement of HVAC and water system components as needed.
1.04 Manages and implements a comprehensive maintenance plan, including : - Safety and security of all district facilities. - Preventative maintenance and inspections of HVAC and water systems. - Energy efficiency and conservation measures. - Capital improvement projects and renovations.
1.05 Coordinates and oversees district-wide improvement projects related to facilities, HVAC, and water systems.
1.06 Maintains inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment necessary for HVAC and water system maintenance.
1.07 Prepares and maintains service logs and documentation for HVAC and water systems, ensuring compliance with regulations.
1.08 Communicates and collaborates with maintenance and custodial staff to support district-wide operations.
1.09 Ensures that all repair, maintenance, and improvement work is carried out efficiently by district personnel or contractors.
1.10 Monitors and enforces all safety, environmental, and compliance policies related to HVAC and water systems.
1.11 Manages air filter maintenance, documenting quarterly changes, and coordinating with contractors for servicing.
1.12 Responds promptly to mechanical failures and works with contractors to resolve system issues.
1.13 Maintains all district-wide mechanical rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization throughout the year.
1.14 Obtains quotes and / or bids per policy and enters all requisitions and approves completed work for payment in a timely manner
