Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Retention: Work within an existing client base, prospect for new life insurance clients, and build lasting relationships with them. Engage clients to understand their life insurance needs and recommend the best coverage options.
Sales Expertise: Utilize strong sales skills to cross-sell life insurance policies and meet client needs, while achieving personal and agency sales goals.
Policy Sales & Management: Provide accurate and timely quotes, educate clients on available policy options, and manage the policy-writing process from start to finish.
Counsel & Consultation: Offer sound, honest advice and personalized counsel to ensure clients have appropriate life insurance coverage to protect their families and assets.
Customer Service: Maintain ongoing communication with clients to review and adjust policies as their needs evolve. Handle claims and other inquiries with professionalism and care.
Networking & Prospecting: Participate in local events, online marketing initiatives, and other activities to grow your book of business.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure that all sales practices and client interactions adhere to legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate client records and policy details.
Requirements
- Licensing: Must hold a current and valid Life & Health license for the State of Kansas.
- Experience: Proven experience in sales, preferably in the life insurance or financial services industry. Experience working with clients and delivering tailored life insurance solutions.
