What are the responsibilities and job description for the Athletics and Wellness Receptionist position at Jonathan Club?
The Athletics and Wellness Receptionist is responsible for the following:
- Shift available: 1pm-8pm Saturday and Sunday
- Serves members by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.
- Responsible for booking of all Spa appointments for both the Urban & Beach Retreats (2 facilities), sending confirmation e-mails and making sure that all members have a waiver on file.
- Knowledge of all Athletics & Wellness department activities and communicating accurate information to the membership.
- Ability to multi-task multiple departments and work under pressure to complete assignments in a timely fashion.
- Available to work weekends and holidays.
- Respond in comprehensive, rapid and informed manner regarding member issues.
- Ability to focus and maintain attention to performance of tasks despite frequent, stressful, emergency, critical or unusual interruptions.
- Ability to recollect and quickly retrieve dates, names, times and other data.
- Proficient in the equipment operation in the Athletics & Wellness Reception Desk / Spa Booking Center and maintain a good aesthetic appearance.
- Provide support and assistance to all other departments in Athletics & Wellness.
- Responding to all inquiries in a polite and timely manner.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel OneNote, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Organization skills to find important information quickly.
- Time management skills to prioritize and complete a variety of tasks throughout the day.
