Dental Assistant
We are looking for a well-rounded Dental Assistant to join our team. Compensation may be determined by a candidate's experience and readiness to contribute with the following:
Responsibilities
- Ensure patients have accurate financial plan and consents before treatment begins
- Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
- Sterilize instruments and rooms
- Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
- Monitor cases sent to lab
- Provide post-operative care instructions
- Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
- Manage inventory of supplies and assist with supplies ordering
- Schedule appointments
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
- Take intraoral/extraoral radiographs and dental photos
Skills
- Experience as dental assistant is preferred
- Knowledge of OpenDental and DEXIS is a plus
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Well-organized and reliable
- Must have x-ray certification
Candidate should be comfortable with a wide range of dental procedures, including endodontics and implants. Experience using intraoral scanners, CBCT, 3D printers is preferred, not required, but learning these will be a must for this position. The practice will be adding sedation in 2025, so experience in conscious sedation and nitrous oxide will be a plus.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 33 per week
