- Description: Jones Bros is seeking a Part-Time Scale Clerk for our Aggregates Division in Parsons, TN. Candidates must be motivated, safety-conscious individuals with good multi-tasking skills to operate our Truck Scale system, take customer orders, and dispatch trucks. Performs general clerical duties in accordance with established procedures, requiring some judgment in the selection and interpretation of data. Proposed Hours are 6am-12pm or 11am-4pm Monday-Friday. Jones Bros is a TN Drug-Free Workplace.
Job Requirements:
- Operate scales in dispatch and delivery of products or materials.
- Answer customer calls.
- Assist in processing paperwork for corporate accounting systems such as payable, payroll, etc.
- Assist sales staff with customer service responsibilities.
- May be called upon at the discretion of Managers to perform other duties.
Qualifications
- Entry-level position
- High school diploma required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent customer service skills
- Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy with the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
