A nationwide energy sector construction leader is seeking a self-motivated, dependable, and experienced candidate to immediately fill the title position.
Major sectors include ground-up construction and remodels of big box retail, convenience stores, and many aspects of the energy sector including gasoline systems, hydrogen fuel cells, electric vehicle charging and distribution systems, etc.
Job purpose:
Provide outstanding customer service in any realistic way. This is the foundation of our company.
Maintain quality of service by following organizational standards.
Present and maintain a professional and effective relationship with all owners, agencies, engineers, and subcontractors.
Actively seek and qualify potential subcontractors across the nation.
Prepare project specific scopes of work for each trade and distribute to subcontractors.
Follow up with bidders throughout the bid using bid cultivation techniques.
Ensure bids are qualified, comprehensive, and meet the requested scope of work.
Prepare a formal estimate and proposal for submission to the client.
Assist project management in understanding the intent of the bid and the parameters they will need to work within to meet that intent.
Contribute recommendations to improve existing standards and processes.
Be proficient with the seven of the following software titles. Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint, Bluebeam Revu, BuildingConnected, and Near Maps. Microsoft Project is a plus.

Additional qualifications:
Ability to telecommute via Microsoft Teams with other team members across the nation.
We are a distributed nationwide company. Your internal company interaction will occur on Microsoft Teams.

Please note that no experience is required in the energy sector projects. We are a company of experts in energy and will train the successful candidate to succeed.
At a minimum we are looking for an individual looking for a long-term position as an estimator at our company, and a willingness adapt to our standards. Recommended five years’ experience in commercial or civil estimating or a 4-year construction related degree.
Outstanding verbal and written skills and the ability to touch type at least 40 WPM.
