What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Student Intern - Summer 2025 position at Jones Edmunds?
The Student Intern observes, receives, and otherwise obtains information about the role of the consulting engineering professional under the close supervision of an experienced Engineer Intern or Professional Engineer. This position acquires limited knowledge and develops basic skills while using prescribed techniques and procedures in accordance with established criteria to perform assigned tasks. The Student Intern performs routine technical work that does not require experience while acquiring an understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
Technical Responsibility
- Perform standard computations and analysis.
- Prepare drawings, visual aids, maps, and tabular information.
- Engage in continuing professional development.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Education : Enrolled in an accredited college or university Engineering program and have completed at least 80 credit hours.
