Caregiver
Overview:

Duties:
- Provide direct support to individuals in an assisted living setting
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Implement behavior management techniques to support individuals with developmental disabilities
- Administer medications following proper protocols and guidelines
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately
- Support individuals with activities of daily living and encourage social engagement
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of resident information
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with individuals with mental, developmental disabilities or autism preferred
- Knowledge of long-term care practices and principles
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with residents, and healthcare professionals
- Strong understanding of direct support techniques and person-centered care
- Proficiency in medication administration procedures
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies
- Excellent interpersonal skills and empathy towards individuals with special needs
