What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Imaging Technologist I position at Jones Memorial Hospital?
Operates radiologic equipment, processes images, and prepares patient’s room, equipment, supplies and medications. Coordinates and performs quality diagnostic images for the patients of Jones Memorial Hospital.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
High School or equivalent plus satisfactory completion from an accredited school of radiologic technology as approved by the ARRT. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic technologist and licensed by the New York State Department of Health required. Maintains professional licensures and appropriate CEU requirements as required by ARRT, NYSDOH and Joint Commission. Current BLS/CPR certification is preferred, if injection certified CPR is required.
