Jones Networking is recruiting for Industrial Maintenance Mechanics to join an award-winning food manufacturing facility in San Antonio, TX. The Maintenance Mechanic position ensures the efficient and reliable operation of high speed and complex processing and packaging equipment.This includes troubleshooting, problem identification, maintaining, testing, installing and conducting all mechanical repairs on all of the processing and packaging equipment. Maintenance Technician Position Summary:
-Troubleshoot, install, repair and maintain the operating condition of production and processing machinery and surrounding equipment, including; hydraulic & pneumatic systems, robotics, motors, pumps, conveying system, cooking equipment, etc.
-Troubleshoot malfunctioning components of processing equipment.
-Read electrical schematics and manufacturers' maintenance manuals to determine proper operation.
-Maintain a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for machinery in the facility.
-Complete accurate and timely documentation of maintenance records, work orders and task records.
-Perform all Lockout Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
-Set up, start up, adjust and repair equipment to include proper shutdown and changeover as required by company standards and to minimize downtime.
Qualifications Summary:
-Minimum two years experience as a mechanic in an industrial plant or manufacturing facility.
-Troubleshooting skills and repair techniques of mechanical and pneumatic components and systems.
-PLC programming functions and troubleshooting a plus.
-The ability to read and interpret blueprints or other forms of engineering drawings.
-Ability to utilize power & hand tools properly and safely support work activities.
-Effective troubleshooting skills to systematically diagnose mechanical or electrical problems.
-Technical school or other related mechanical training desired.
