Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and care. This role involves performing various tasks related to the upkeep of gardens, lawns, and other outdoor spaces, ensuring they remain healthy, attractive, and functional.

Duties

  • Perform groundskeeping tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools for planting, digging, and maintaining garden beds.
  • Irrigate plants and lawns effectively to promote healthy growth.
  • Conduct tree care activities such as pruning and fertilizing.
  • Assist with landscape design implementation and maintenance.
  • Provide snow plowing services during winter months to ensure safe access to properties.
  • Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and basic repairs as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards.

Skills

  • Strong mechanical knowledge to operate various landscaping equipment.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruners.
  • Experience with power tools including lawn mowers, blowers, and trimmers.
  • Familiarity with irrigation systems and techniques for effective watering.
  • Knowledge of groundskeeping practices to maintain aesthetic appeal of landscapes.
  • Ability to perform tree care tasks safely and effectively.
  • Experience in snow plowing operations during winter months is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
