Duties
- Perform groundskeeping tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for planting, digging, and maintaining garden beds.
- Irrigate plants and lawns effectively to promote healthy growth.
- Conduct tree care activities such as pruning and fertilizing.
- Assist with landscape design implementation and maintenance.
- Provide snow plowing services during winter months to ensure safe access to properties.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and basic repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge to operate various landscaping equipment.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruners.
- Experience with power tools including lawn mowers, blowers, and trimmers.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and techniques for effective watering.
- Knowledge of groundskeeping practices to maintain aesthetic appeal of landscapes.
- Ability to perform tree care tasks safely and effectively.
- Experience in snow plowing operations during winter months is a plus.
