Wheel Loader Operator
General Responsibilities
Work safely - know, understand, and follow all safety rules
Load and unload log trucks
Feed sawmill occasionally
Assist Log Yard Foreman when needed
Clean up equipment daily
Qualifications
Experience operating a wheel loader or similar heavy equipment
Knowledge of hardwood species is preferred
Enthusiasm for being part of a team and working in a team oriented environment
Self-motivated, resourceful, and willing to take initiative
Ability to cross-train on different loading jobs
Ability to make decisions quickly utilizing hand eye hand foot coordination
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
