Job Summary
The CI Coordinator is responsible for supporting and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. This includes identifying opportunities for process improvement, overseeing the implementation of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring that improvements are sustainable. The CI Coordinator will work closely with leadership and employees to build a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Process Improvement Initiatives:
- Identify and evaluate areas for process improvement across various departments.
- Analyze workflow processes and recommend actionable improvements.
- Collaborate with department heads to create and implement CI strategies.
- Project Management:
- Coordinate continuous improvement projects from initiation to completion.
- Track progress, set milestones, and report on outcomes.
- Ensure that CI projects are aligned with organizational goals.
- Training and Support:
- Provide training and support to employees on continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Assist teams in implementing best practices for process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through workshops, coaching, and mentoring.
- Data Analysis:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret KPI inefficiencies or areas needing improvement.
- Use KPIs to evaluate the success of improvement efforts.
- Provide regular reports on the impact of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Act as a liaison between departments to facilitate process improvements.
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute improvement projects.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Sustainability of Improvements:
- Develop systems and processes to ensure that improvements are maintained over time.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor the impact of improvements.
- Problem Solving:
- Apply root cause analysis techniques to resolve recurring problems and inefficiencies.
- Work with teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
Food Safety Responsibilities
- Ensure all food safety protocols are met
- Clearly reflect food safety and quality as part of the JP brand, when planning and executing projects, and while interacting with relevant external and internal stakeholders.
- Follows, adheres and upholds GMP
Minimum Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field. Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt, Black Belt) or similar are preferred.
- Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in continuous improvement, operations, or project management.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams.
- Ability to lead change and foster a continuous improvement culture.
Expected Pay Range
Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form on bonuses and/or commissions.
$30-40$ /hr
