The Coordinator, Social Media & Content will play a pivotal role in enhancing our brand's online presence by creating high-quality, original content including still images and video to be used across platforms. This role will focus on producing engaging multimedia content and managing community relationships to drive engagement, foster community growth, and strengthen our connection with JonnyPops fans!
The Coordinator, Social Media & Content will be a true brand advocate – Someone that loves the mission of JonnyPops, loves creating engaging content, and loves seeing the joy that JonnyPops creates in the world!
We're looking for someone who can create concepts, capture still and video content, edit, and react to social trends to support our growing brand. This role may be 'on camera', representing the brand in featured content as well. This role requires a deep understanding of social platforms, use of each platform, content creation, and reporting. This role would be responsible for social content calendar management, content creation and community engagement for Meta Platforms, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest.

Personal experience creating content is most important to us, along with a vision for what our Social Media pages could become! You may also include information about work you've done for other brands, but please be specific as to which videos you're involved with and what you did for the content.
Dependent on workload the Social Media & Content Specialist may be tapped in to assist in Influencer Marketing efforts as well. While not a requirement, experience in this area is an advantage in the full scope of JonnyPops’ Social Media efforts.

Key Accountabilities
- Social Media Content
- Curate and create engaging content for all social media channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest and emerging platforms.
- Refine brand specific social community management guidelines.
- Collaborate with Marketing & Creative teams to define content development needs and develop content calendars for social media to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all social media channels.
- Own the end-to-end creation of original social content, focusing on high-quality video, photography, and multimedia assets to enhance engagement and brand storytelling. Content creation will include photography, videos, GIFs, graphics, and more using tools such as iPhone, camera, CapCut, Adobe Suite, Canva, etc.
- Schedule and publish content across social media channels according to a content calendar. Ensure all content is on brand, with compelling copy that drives engagement.
Social Community Engagement
- Monitor social media channels daily for brand mentions, comments, and messages, and respond promptly in the voice of the brand! This role will become an expert on all-things-JonnyPops, ready with an answer that will brighten our fans’ days!
- Highlight earned media and organic influencer content across social platforms to strengthen brand positioning and credibility.
- Proactively engage followers, fans, like-minded influencers, and brands to cultivate a sense of community around our brands. Be a kindness and brand advocate and the voice of our brand online!
- Coordinate with potential partners to strengthen the brands' communities through co-branded collaborations and influencer seeding & partnerships.
Performance Analysis & Optimization
- Track and analyze social media impression and engagement metrics against content strategies and tactics to evaluate the effectiveness of content, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Assist in tracking influencer campaign performance & ROI, providing insights to optimize future collaborations.
- Advise on best practices within digital marketing, social media, influencer marketing, community management, and content creation including emerging talent and platforms, content types, and tactics to keep the brands relevant, relatable, and approachable. This role should be the expert on all things digital, and advocate for what JonnyPops social pages need to be best-in-class!
Assistance in Influencer Relationships & Activations
- Develop & execute influencer marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and sales.
- Identify, vet, and manage influencer partnerships across key social media platforms - either directly or through external partners.
- Plan, brief, and oversee influencer campaigns to generate compelling brand-aligned content, ensuring high-quality influencer and UGC assets support digital marketing efforts.
- Coordinate budgets, contracts and terms for influencer/UGC creator/brand collaborations, negotiating cost-effective partnerships.
- Maintain influencer relationships and records, including outreach, contracting, gifting/product seeding, and maintaining a UGC content library for digital marketing use.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, public relations, or a related field-or equivalent experience. Also accepting degrees in creative writing, english, theater, etc. - You must be comfortable in front of the camera!
- 3 years of experience in social media management, preferably in CPG, Food / Bev, Retail, Beauty, Fashion, or Wellness industries.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms and influencer marketing, with expertise in digital strategy and execution.
- Proficiency in social media management, analytics, and content creation tools, such as Sprout Social, Tagger, CapCut, Adobe Suite, and Canva.
- Strong visual, written, and verbal communication skills with a talent for crafting engaging, authentic content.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions in social media and influencer strategy, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Strong project management skills with clear, proactive communication across internal teams and external partners.
- Team player with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for storytelling and community building.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities and deadlines.
Expected Pay Range
Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form on bonuses and/or commissions.
Estimated pay range for the role is expected to be in the 60-70k range.
