Daycare Teacher at Christian Preschool/Daycare

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our Christian Preschool Daycare. The ideal candidate will love the Lord first as well as create a nurturing and engaging environment for children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and education to young learners, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting a love for learning.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, utilizing positive reinforcement strategies.
• Monitor children's progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
• Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support the child's development.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and learning materials.

Requirements

• Proven experience in childcare or as a daycare teacher is preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Experience working with students of various ages, particularly preschool-aged children.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques to address varying student needs.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• A nurturing attitude towards children and a genuine passion for early childhood education.

Pay: $13.75 - $14.25 per hour
