Job Summary:
The Property Manager at Meridian Property Management assumes a pivotal role, providing essential support to the team while overseeing the day-to-day activities of the leasing agents. Key responsibilities include coaching and training of team members, finalizing approvals for all applications and leases, and overseeing the resolution of escalated customer issues. As a key contributor to the success of the sales team, the Property Manager ensures effective leadership, coaching, and support to achieve occupancy targets and drive revenue growth in alignment with the organization's objectives. Your role will involve closely collaborating with the team to create a positive and collaborative work environment that fosters professional growth and excellence.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Directs and oversees the day to day tasks of leasing agents.
- Hires and trains new leasing agents.
- Supports the growth and development of all leasing agents.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and implement strategies to improve individual and team results in a timely and constructive manner.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
- Serve as a role model, exemplifying the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and customer service within the leasing team.
- Conduct daily check-ins with the leasing team to offer direction and support.
- Set clear sales targets and develop action plans to achieve and exceed goals.
- Lead and motivate a team of leasing agents to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members to enhance their performance and professional development.
- Conduct regular training sessions for the sales team to enhance their product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
- Review and approve all applications and leases.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales metrics, achievements, and challenges to the Owners.
- Lead by example in executing effective follow-up strategies and maintaining clear communication with both customers and team members.
- Monitor resident satisfaction and feedback, driving continuous enhancement initiatives to improve fulfillment and retention.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively.
- Address staffing problems and other issues that may impede efficient property management sales operations.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulations, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Collaborate with the service team to establish quality benchmarks and performance metrics.
- Foster strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and partners to ensure seamless property management operations.
- Projects a positive image of the company to employees, residents, industry, and community.
