Our community, nestled in beautiful Ventura and comprising 266 units, relies on individuals like you to maintain its integrity and functionality. Boasting over 250 residents, our community encompasses the serenity of Lake Roper and Lake Frederica, providing an urban feel to its well-kept surroundings.
- Coordinate a variety of light carpentry, plumbing, electrical and maintenance tasks for buildings and grounds consisting of 266-unit apartments.
- Analyze troubleshoot and fix highly complex issues that come up on a day-to-day basis and report back to our on-site management through work orders and or emails.
- Conduct standard repairs and maintenance tasks on various pieces of equipment associated with buildings grounds fixtures machinery and lighting.
- Complete detailed accurate maintenance logs and report to on site manager.
- Power Washing various areas in the community. This includes the compactor 1x weekly, pool deck monthly, common area and walkways one (1) building at a time.
- Daily cleaning of common areas including, pool area, trash cans, fitness room and bathrooms.
- Cleaning of Doggie Station 2x weekly.
- Cleaning of the entire community clubhouse 2x weekly.
- Cleaning of vents, daily.
- Common grounds trash maintenance daily. Recycling and bulk areas require 1 hour weekly preferably Sunday to prepare for Monday trash pickup.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/R systems if needed.
- Communication skills in a polite demeanor when dealing with customers/owners is a must.
- Have the ability to work independently with a sense of urgency is a must. Willingness and ability to learn industry leading technology to provide efficient and effective service is essential for this role.
- Qualified candidates must have demonstrated organizational skills in order to prioritize daily schedules to meet property demands.
- Monitors inventories of parts, supplies, and materials, places orders ensuring that inventories meet what is needed. Ensures that parts, materials and supplies are properly stored.
- Determines the need for outside contractors and negotiates and schedules related assignments, monitoring progress and results.
- Maintains property grounds and facilities and resolves safety hazards, property damage, or unsightly conditions. Reports unusual or serious problems to management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience of 5 years in maintenance and repair work.
- Proficiency in HVAC/R, and industrial electrical systems.
- Ability to read interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- This is a CONTRACT position. Proof of Insurance and Workers Comp should be turned in and submitted to management to be considered for this position.
- Bilingual in BOTH English and Spanish is preferred but not a requirement.
- Previous supervisory experience is a plus but not mandatory.
