Essential functions of the job
may include but are not limited to the following:
- Plan, prepare and deliver daily lesson plans and instructional material for an average of 10-12 students, with a maximum amount of 15; in a small group setting
- Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction
- Communicate necessary information regularly to students, hospital and parents regarding student progress and student needs
- Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies
- Updating daily attendance and creating daily session reports for each student
Position entails a 40-hour a week commitment, Monday-Friday. We offer a very generous package of paid time off including vacation time, sick time, federal holidays.

Preschool Teacher Requirements and Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Patient and compassionate to young children's needs and emotions
- High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age
- At least 2500 hours (1 year, 4 months) months of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility OR 15 relevant college credits (or CDA) and at least 1250 hours (8 months) documented experience with young children in a licensed facility
- Must be (or be willing to start) pursuing a CDA (Child Development Associate) OR a degree in the field
