What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist position at Jordan Law Center?
Responsibilities:
- Greet all incoming visitors and clients
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Receive and sort daily mail/deliveries
- Scanning mail and documents
- Updating appointment calendars, scheduling meetings & appointments
- Basic filing and shredding
- Assist with other administrative duties such as preparing letters, memos, and spreadsheets
- Organize client folders and documents
- Keep track of and order office supplies
- Calling for office maintenance and repair issues
- Run office errands
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years’ experience working in an office environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Highly organized
- Detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple assignments simultaneously
- Excellent customer service skills
Hours:
- Monday – Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (1 hour lunch)
- Friday – 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (1 hour lunch)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
