Low Voltage Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low voltage systems, including but not limited to CCTV, fire alarms, and access control systems. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Low Voltage Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various low voltage systems in residential and commercial settings.

Duties

• Install and configure low voltage systems including Verkada Cameras, and access control systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on existing installations to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Conduct site assessments to determine the best installation practices for cabling and equipment placement.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards during installations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
• Proficient in cabling techniques and installation practices for low voltage systems.
• Relevant certifications in low voltage installation or service technician roles are highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $22.50 - $27.46 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
