Rental Equipment Delivery Driver
Company: Jordan Power Equipment
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Salary: $21-$25 per hour (varies based on experience)
Hours: Monday – Friday (7:30 am – 4:00 pm)
Jordan Power Equipment has been a leading industrial/commercial cleaning and floor preparation equipment provider for over 46 years. We seek a responsible and experienced driver to join our team to transport rental equipment and materials to various locations safely.
Responsibilities:
Transporting rental equipment to customer sites
Ensuring that equipment is loaded and unloaded safely and securely
Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, such as checking oil levels and tire pressure
Delivering exceptional customer service when interacting with clients
Operate a variety of vehicles, including pick-up trucks and trailers, and box truck
Follow all traffic laws and regulations
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
Additional duties as assigned by managers when not making deliveries.
Requirements:
The ability to drive and back up a pick-up truck with a trailer
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Prior experience as a driver, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
Positive attitude and excellent work ethic.
Strong verbal and presentation skills.
Professional appearance.
Forklift experience (preferred)
CDL preferred but not required
