Must complete Basic Training (5 hours) provided by JSD Special Education Department. Training must be completed within one week of hire as a condition of employment.Special Education
Additional 40 hours of training is available through the Special Education department allowing the employee to increase to lane 5 upon completion.
Training must be completed within six (6) months from hire date as a condition of employment.
A successful applicant will be responsible for converting standard printed educational materials like textbooks, worksheets, tests, and assignments into accessible formats like Braille, large print, or audio recordings, specifically for students with visual impairments, ensuring they can fully participate in classroom learning.
