We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations.
- Load and unload products using pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring items are secured properly during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries and addressing any concerns.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability on the road.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization of stock.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in warehouse operations is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools to optimize delivery efficiency.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading/unloading goods.
- Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
