Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport drywall and related materials to job sites.
- Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and logs as required.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding delivery schedules and requirements.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met.
- Assist with heavy lifting and moving of materials as needed on-site.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills.
- Ability to operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles safely.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus.
