About the role:
This highly skilled and experienced Meditech Healthcare Implementation Analyst will work closely with Director of Client Relations and the operations team to assist with all Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Services. They will lead Jorie’s efforts to communicate with clients on billing, performance issues, trends, and platform/environmental updates.
Location & Hours:
· This position is remote.
· Hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
· Possible client travel.
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for serving as liaison to the revenue cycle application billing and healthcare information management software owners, supporting a team of Jorie RCM leads and analysts, and ensuring the system meets the needs of Jorie and its clients’ organizations.
The person in this role will work with clients to evaluate and tailor the systems, and work closely with revenue cycle operations leadership to optimize the applications’ functionality and workflow.
Evaluate and plan for go-live support for clients on new applications, modules, and functionality as well as planned upgrades that impact Jorie’s scope of services. Working with the hospital IT/EHR supporting AI technology within their systems.
· Apply technical expertise to individual client system build to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems.
· Analyze and document workflows, as well as provide optimization suggestions.
· Conduct stakeholder interviews, complete gap analysis and recommendations, and contribute to the development of a summary report to be presented to the client.
· Learning and understanding the latest MEDITECH vendor recommendations and recommending implementation of best practices depending on client environment.
· Staying current with MEDITECH system certifications and application knowledge.
· Must have experience in building applications within the Meditech Magic Clinical System.
· Liaison with the hospital and participate in Meditech implementations.
· Update system, operational, and department documentation.
· Perform analyses of workflows, data collection, report details to RPA Developers and operations and the client and other technical issues associated with the use of software applications.
· Other RCM duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field preferred.
- Expert in Meditech (Magic, C/S, Expanse) surrounding various modules.
- Experience with revenue cycle management processes and interfaces with Meditech products.
- Experience providing Meditech system application support.
- Some knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 diagnosis coding preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement and operational management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Experience with healthcare information technology systems and tools.
