What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Assistant position at JORNY?
JORNY is growing fast and we’re on the lookout for an awesome Executive Assistant to join our vibrant, early-stage team.
We’re building a next-gen community for midlifers, offering personal growth experiences, deep connections, real-world adventures, and inspiring content that helps people live their best, most meaningful lives (while having a blast). Think: reshaping our midlife era.
Now we need someone to help keep the engine running behind the scenes. That’s where you come in.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting our CEO and the executive team with everything from scheduling and emails to special projects and prep for investor & team meetings
- Managing documents, folders, sheets, and slides (Google is your playground)
- Creating and polishing presentations (PowerPoint or Google Slides)
- Keeping track of expenses and handling basic bookkeeping in QuickBooks
- Jumping into other areas where help is needed (flexibility!)
- Occasionally traveling for events, meetings, or team off-sites (not more than 1–2 times/month)
- Working across time zones and handling a bit of pressure like a pro (startup life)
What we’re looking for:
- Native-level English (Some Hebrew or Spanish is a bonus points)
- Super comfortable with Google Workspace: Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides
- Solid skills in PowerPoint or Google Slides (bonus points for Photoshop and creativity!)
- Experience using QuickBooks
- Strong attention to detail great communication
- Highly organized but flexible—someone who can pivot fast
- Based on the East Coast (preferably FL or NY area)
- Excited about startups, fast-paced environments, and helping build something meaningful from the ground up
