ZAYTINYA BARTENDER

The José Andrés Group has partnered with The Ritz Carlton South Beach to bring the award-winning restaurant concepts to Miami Beach, Florida. We are looking for the area's most talented hospitality professionals to help us as we continue our mission to Change the World Through the Power of Food!

We are currently searching for qualified bartenders to join our Zaytinya restaurant.

What We Would Like From You

• Exceed guests’ expectations by providing an authentic, friendly, enthusiastic, professional culinary experience paired with impeccable service and a genuine sense of hospitality.
• Maintain and oversee all aspects of the bar including a cash drawer/POS system, customer consumption and support of your front of house and back of house teammates.
• Precisely prepare and execute an exciting menu of handmade cocktails.
• A passion for continuous learning and discovery by embracing an active and innovative approach to expanding your knowledge of food and beverage.
• Ability to articulate an appealing description of every item we offer. Explain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods
• Participates in cocktail R&D with the team including Head Bartender and Beverage Leaders throughout the property and group.

Abilities & Working Conditions

• Must be able to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
• May be required to lift trays of food or food items weighing up to 30 lbs. occasionally.
• Maintain an organized, clean workspace throughout a shift and help setup for the following day/shift
• Ability to maneuver throughout the dining/bar area while carrying trays of food & beverages
• Confidently communicate with guests and employees.
• Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
• Will work some nights, holidays and weekends.
