Basic Function : Responsible for general cleaning and upkeep, including painting of all equipment and production areas. In addition, he or she is responsible for any other task the Plant Manager / Lean Manufacturing Engineer deems necessary.
Essential Functions :
- Communicate effectively with all Team Members
- Running floor cleaner as needed
- Mopping, sweeping and cleaning floors, walls and equipment
- Collecting all trash in around the facility twice a day and disposing of trash properly
- Policing the exterior grounds on a weekly basis
- Painting as needed
- Monitor and empty dust collectors
- Replace receptacles for recycling when full. Stage full receptacles in appropriate area.
- Oil catch cans on mixers 12 and 16
- Stock shelves at mixer stations (gloves, dust masks, tape, etc.)
- Work Unsupervised
- Log and dispose of Industrial Waste.
- Inspect incoming reconditioned drums.
Skills / competencies :
Experience :
Industrial cleaning and / or painting experience preferred, fork lift experience required.
