Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer, PE

The Guerra team is seeking a Texas Registered Professional Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer you will develop design documentation for a diverse range of construction projects including municipal, higher education, K-12, industrial, aviation / airport and commercial projects of all sizes and complexities throughout the state of Texas.

The Opportunity

• Responsible for the design and construction administration of electrical systems on medium to large-scale complex projects.

• Prepare and review construction documents, drawings and specifications. 

• Lead projects and work closely with the design team to deliver quality work

• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers

• Client Meetings with Owner, Architect and Contractor.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in designing electrical systems for buildings 

• Bachelor’s Degree in electrical or architectural engineering

• P.E. License; in Texas preferred

• Proficient in REVIT & AutoCAD and other electrical design software technologies

• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (NEC, NFPA).

• Familiarity with energy-efficient systems and sustainable design principles(LEED)
