A Jose Pepper’s manager is responsible for overseeing the restaurant’s sales, staffing, and customer service. They ensure daily operations run smoothly, maintain operational excellence, and demonstrate exceptional leadership. Key responsibilities include staff management and training, ensuring compliance with food preparation standards, upholding cleanliness, enhancing the customer experience, and fostering team cohesiveness. Staff Management and Training
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train new employees on restaurant procedures.
- Conduct new employee orientation courses and write training schedules.
- Manage all training and onboarding for the entire store.
- Coach, counsel, and mentor all employees as needed.
- Develop employees through goal setting and coaching.
- Conduct quadrant evaluations as needed.
- Prepare and manage FOH schedules.
Payroll and Financial Management
- Manage and execute some payroll functions, including tip outs and on boarding
- Manage labor costs and complete all clerical responsibilities for corporate.
Customer Service
- Ensure excellent customer service from all employees.
- Handle customer issues as they arise.
- Serve orders to customers at tables and support staff on the floor.
- Take food and drink orders and process payments.
Inventory and Supplies
