Summary of Functions:

Maintain and stock offices, hand wash stations, break rooms, rest rooms and keep clean and sanitary for Good Manufacturing Practices Prerequisite Program.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean and stock Cheese Plant, Packaging and Warehouse rest rooms.
• Clean and stock Cheese Plant and Packaging break rooms.
• Sweep and mop office areas, break rooms, boot rooms and rest rooms.
• Stock hand wash stations in Cheese plant HTST room, Make room, Pasta Filata room and Staging room in Packaging.
• Remove large cans trash and replace liners in Ops trailer, Cheese Plant break room and Packaging break room.
• Remove trash and replace liners in Cheese Plant, Packaging and Warehouse rest rooms.
• Stock Cheese Plant and Packaging with beard nets, hair nets, ear plugs and boot covers.
• Clean walls, coveys, outside of lockers, windows and doors in office areas, break rooms and restrooms.
• Follow Chemical safety, work place safety rules and attend appropriate training(s).
• Is responsible for following GMPs, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP, and SQF requirements.
• Is responsible for reporting all food safety issues to Supervisor.
• Stock Office supplies inside facility for water and copy paper.
• Operate dry storage cardboard compactor. (Trained personnel only)
• Clean floors, walls, windows, plastic curtains, rollup doors, man doors inside and/or outside warehouses.
• Monitor the pallet yard for GMPs and proper separation of broken pallets.

Food Safety Requirements/Responsibilities:

• Comply with all Plant, State and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations
• Comply with GMPs in the plant.
• Assist in the maintenance of Food Safety system.

Organizational Relationships:

Position reports to Quality Compliant Manager

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED, Minimum 1 year in food industry.
• Obtain forklift certificate for employee trained on operation of cardboard compactor and pallet yard monitoring.
