As part of our efforts to provide high quality products and exceptional service, JJM is looking to bring on board a certified Heavy Equipment Operator.
The positions main Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Safely and skillfully operate various types of heavy equipment safely such as excavation equipment (mini ex, skid steer) and forklift.
- Ensure cleanliness and maintain equipment in proper operating condition by performing simple preventative maintenance and repair tasks such as making simple adjustments, replacing minor parts, and lubricating equipment
- Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations by collaborating with team members to execute project plans effectively.
- Monitor site conditions and report any issues to supervisors promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and site activities.
- Ability to adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety policies and maintain PPE in a functional condition. Personal protective gear provided, with exception to work boots
Must perform other general laborer duties as assigned.
Requirements:- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must have experience operating an excavator proficiently (3 years preferred)
- Experience in plumbing and able to install pipe when not operating
- Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with job site supervisors and fellow employees
- Job requires the following motions: stretching, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, twisting, throwing, walking, standing, reaching and squatting
- Requires regular lifting of up to 50 pounds
- May be exposed to extremes of hot and cold weather
Salary : $28 - $45
