Duties
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences, providing personalized recommendations.
- Demonstrate jewelry products through engaging product demos, highlighting features and benefits.
- Utilize upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments.
- Maintain an organized store ensuring inventory levels are adequate and displays are visually appealing.
- Stay informed about current trends in jewelry design and retail sales strategies.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in a jewelry or luxury goods environment.
- Strong skills in selling, upselling, and cash handling.
- Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management practices.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a diverse clientele.
- Experience in supervising or mentoring team members is advantageous.
- A passion for jewelry and an eagerness to learn about new products is essential.
