Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Follow food handling safety protocols to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are met.
- Assist in managing inventory levels and restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer experiences.
- Stay informed about menu items, promotions, and coffee knowledge to effectively engage with customers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or retail environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and understanding retail math concepts.
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods efficiently.
- Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is a plus; training will be provided for specific beverage recipes.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures.
- A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
