Summary
As a Housekeeper at Josephine Caring Community, you will play an essential role in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our residents. Your contributions will directly support our mission of providing exceptional care and comfort to those we serve.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks in resident rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming as needed.
- May assist with laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens.
- Ensure proper sanitation practices are followed in all cleaning procedures.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages as necessary.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff or residents to enhance their comfort.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on best practices in housekeeping and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a caregiving environment.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment is beneficial.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A background in hospitality or customer service is a plus but not required.
