Position: Commissary – Packaging Associate

Our Commissary - Packaging Associates play a critical role in ensuring our fresh soups, pastas, sauces, and other signature items are expertly portioned, packaged, and labeled with precision. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety and quality, this team ensures that every product leaving our commissary is presentation-ready and maintains the exceptional taste our customers expect.
Routine Tasks:
- Maintain Joseph’s standards for product freshness and sanitation
- Pack soups, pastas, sauces, and various products
- Label, date, and box products
- Clean equipment and work areas to maintain health and sanitation standards
- Operate scale, computer, and Multivac machine
- Assist with other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to deliver friendly, respectful, and timely products
- Ability to interpret and follow instructions
- Ability to work well with others
- Must be able to speak Spanish
- Food preparation experience
- A passion for serving people
A Packaging Associate performs their tasks primarily in the Commissary department. This role involves physical activity such as walking, standing for extended periods, and lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds. Work is done in a cold refrigerated environment. Work also includes frequent interaction with fellow employees.
