We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and driven individual for the Full-Time Cockroach Production Technician position in our Owosso Insect Department. As a member of the Insect Department, you'll play a key role in our team, focusing on insect husbandry and supporting the growth of our insect production to meet wholesale demands.
Your primary responsibilities will include insect husbandry tasks such as feeding and watering, cleaning roach bins, and assisting with sorting and breeding projects.

Day-to-day tasks include:

Feeding and watering, cleaning roach bins

Sorting roaches by size, creating, and adhering to breeding plans for various species

Unpacking, weighing, and adding supplier roaches to the inventory

Sorting colonies each week or creating breeding colonies for different roach species

Cleaning, caulking, and building shelves, along with basic skills with hand tools

The ability to work and cooperate in a team environment

Basic computer skills

Previous Insect Husbandry experience
