We're looking for an ambitious and goal-driven salesperson who understands the local market and can generate ideas that drive new sales to multiple hotel properties. We need a self-starter who can hit the ground running and always strives to exceed profit margins and revenue targets. $150,000 - $180,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Keep a list of important clients up to date to ensure the ongoing development of relationships
- Generate new business, close deals, and increase revenue by cold calling, on-site visits and sales tours, and community networking
- Evaluate property performance in your area and create regional sales plans and sales goals in alignment with brand objectives
- Motivate the sales team to meet or exceed established monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and profit margin targets
- Study and research local market trends and competitor activity to discover potential leads
Client Consultation and Needs Assessment:
- Conduct thorough needs analysis to understand clients’ insurance requirements.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations on suitable insurance products and services
Sales Presentations and Proposals:
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Explain policy features, benefits, and pricing effectively to ensure client understanding and satisfaction.
Relationship Building and Client Management:
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service.
- Exhibits superior communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
- 3 or more years of experience in sales management or a leadership role in the sales department, preferably in hospitality
- Must have previous sales experience working in the hospitality industry
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in business or a similar major is desired
- Good organization and time management skills
