Job Title: Instructor / Vocational Trainer
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Instructor to join our team. As an Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering vocational / educational content to students with disabilities and fostering a working relationship with both the students and school staff. The instructor will teach at area schools throughout each week. In addition, the instructor will work with local businesses in the community to help locate internships for students. The instructor will accompany students to internships during the week during certain parts of the school year to provide vocational instruction on the job site.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans.
- Provide instruction in accordance with the curriculum objectives.
- Create inclusive classroom environments that encourages participation and learning.
- Offer constructive feedback to students to support growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
Qualifications:
- One of the following:
1. Associate's / Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or Social Work.
2. Certification or Ordination from a training program or religious entity for public service, religious work, or medical care.
3. Current enrollment in an educational program meeting the above criteria with transcript
- Previous teaching experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Passion for education and a commitment to student success.

Pay: $20,000.00 - $30,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
