Through managing, leading, and guiding our Plant Health Care Technicians, the Plant Health Care Department Supervisor, will make a positive impact on their client's properties. Collaborating with the Operations Manager and other Department Supervisors, the Plant Health Care Department Supervisor, will be able to understand objectives and goals of the company to create a productive environment for their team.
What you will do as a Plant Health Care Department Supervisor:
- Be a coach, mentor, and leader to our Plant Health Care Technicians
- Create and communicate department objectives and responsibilities
- Work directly with clients to regarding concerns with ornamental tree and shrub needs
- Provide constructive and meaningful performance evaluations to assigned team
- Conduct individual and group training sessions to improve knowledge and services
The BEST candidate to be our Plant Health Care Department Supervisor has:
- PA Pesticide Applicators License - CORE and Category 6 (Ornamental and Shade Tree)
- ISA Certified Arborist, is highly desirable
- At least 3 years experience in ornamental tree and shrub services, or equivalent industry experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to identify and diagnose common ornamental tree and shrub issues
- Must have High School Diploma or GED
- Must have a Valid Drivers License in Good Standing
- Must be at least 21 years old
